Updates

Hi to those 1 to 5 people that actually do read this blog. I will be posting another How I Live My Life because I am going on a trip from Wednesday to Friday. I did do a How I Live My Life post before but I don't think you guys saw it.

I will (obvi) be taking lots of pictures for you guys and I won't be posting anything until I get back because I want to set a rule where I don't interfere with anything else and I just focus on relaxing and having fun.

One last note:
The blog's 1 year anniversary will be coming up on March 18th so I have something special planned for that.

The Rant Challenge: Things That Really Annoy Me

This is a list of things that annoy me. You probably know what annoys me by now if you read The Rant Challenge.

People Who Smell And They Know It
(via)

Have you ever been in a gym next to a sweaty guy or in an airplane with the sweaty guy beside you?  (Or for those younger viewers, in gym class.) I have. They know they smell like crap because you can see them silently sniffing themselves and thinking: Damn. I forgot to wear deodorant again. Ehh. She won't mind.

If you have body odor, fine. I get it. You don't want to be sweaty and gross, you just are. And a big round of applause to those that fix their problem, to those that take showers daily and to those that don't put their arms up way high in the air when they have forgotten to wear deodorant. Thank you.

Skinny Girls That Believe They Are Fat

(Via)

No. This annoys me. Maybe you have a self esteem problem, maybe you've been bullied. If you are skinny, you are not fat. If you are fat, no you aren't. You have curves so embrace them. All girls are beautiful in their own way. I don't care if you are slim, skinny or curvy. You are beautiful and you can't forget that. If there were a bunch of girls running around screaming : Am I fat or skinny? What am I ? What would the future of girls be? You are beautiful so believe it.

When You Text Somebody A Long Paragraph And All They Say Back Is ''K''.

( via)
Hello Ms. Annoying. Yes, I pour my heart out into this paragraph about how my boyfriend broke up with me or how my cat died and all you say back is ''K''.  I am typing a paragraph because I trust you and I'm looking for advice. Not to get a ''K'' back. If I wanted that I could have just texted Bitchy McBitcherson.

Girls Who Act Dumb To Get  A Guy's Attention

(VIA)
Wow. This is so bad. You trip and fall all over yourself and you look like a fool. Why are guys attracted to that. Yeah you fall and your boobs fall out of your dress. That's why guys are attracted to you. Smart is the new sexy.

Fake Tans
(via)
Eww. I'm sorry if you tan yourself but it's gross. It causes skin cancer and you look like a cheeto. Enough said.

My Weekend. {In Photos}

Yay! The weekend! I did lots of fun things this weekend and I know it's not over but I want to write this post.

So. I went to IKEA and I'm practising my photography in it. I don't know what this item is.

Also, I'm making more stars for my pot of stars.
Flashback:
Hah. Anyways, the yellow looks like pee but it's not. So please don't think I'm pissing on paper to make that. (Eww. What am I typing?)

I'm also working on knitting! Wow. The orange looks so pretty. I'm trying to make a scarf and so far, I've only done like 6 rows. How long will this take?

Last one. For breakfast this morning, I ate this weird fruit. It's kind of like a pear but it's definitely a lot sourer and I had to cut the middle part out. Towards the middle, it gets sweeter.

My Ring Collection {Part 2}

This is the second and last part of  the ring collection. Click here to go see the first one.

This ring is actually the very first ring I bought myself. It's a leaf and a lot of my rings are in this two leaf style. I used Picasa to edit my photos this time and it looks great!

This one I got from one of my close friends on my birthday. It's a rose and the leaf attached.

Another variation of the 'two leaf'style. I actually think it looks more like an angel wing.

Remember how last time, I showed you the diamond and the heart ring? This was what came with it. I don't like this one that much because it's kind of kid-ish.  I want to transform this one and I think I'll post a tutorial on that.

Aww. It's very small but it's one of my favourites. I always wear this one for breast cancer. I don't know why but it reminds me of it.

This one is a little bit more fancy. As you can see, there are flowers and butterflies. Very sweet.

P.S: Send in your ring collection! I would love to see them!

The Rant Challenge: That Look

A lot of things have been really frustrating and annoying and on my mind so I want to talk about this 'thing'.

(via)
You know how in the mall, you are happily shopping and trying on those shoes and those oh-so-stunning necklaces and stuff? And you know how certain people will give you that look. Not THE LOOK but that look. That look where they think they are so much better than you and like " bitch please."

Yeah. Who are you to come up to me and give me this look. You don't know who I am, what I've been through or anything I've done. ( Except for the people that do know you. In that case, check out my bitch rant.)

They look up and down, sneer then hurry off to tell their little bitchy friends. Like seriously. So what if you think I'm ugly? I don't care. If you can sneer at me, then you can also come up to me and tell me that I'm ugly.

Like hello! What I think of you after you've done that to me is much worse. I have no respect for you after that. I won't open the door, I won't say excuse me, I won't apologize for anything.

Sometimes, it's the rich people that do that. You know, the ones all in their Gucci purse and their Jimmy Choo shoes. (hehe, that rhymes.)

The Rant Challenge: People Who Still Use Their Phone While Driving

People Who Still Use Their Phones While Driving

(via)

I know I'm young and I don't drive but this is a really serious topic. When you use your phone while driving, you are distracted. When you are distracted, you are not paying attention. When you don't pay attention, you get into accidents. This goes for anything: doing your makeup, texting, using a GPS. This kills people.

I can't believe people still use their phones while driving. In Ontario, there is a law of no using your cell phone while driving. Why?

Why would you purposely use your cellphone while driving? What if you were the pedestrian and you got hit by the car because they were using a cellphone. This ends lives. I have nothing more to say but if you do kill a person, that's on you forever.

My Ring Collection {Part 1}

I did promise to show you guys my ring collection so here it is.

Isn't that a lovely ring?

Here it is again. I love the detailing on this ring. It's very complicated and interesting to look at.

This one is a beauty. It couldn't stand up on it's own because of the way it's designed but there's variety!

This would probably be my favourite if I could actually wear it. I got this ring for my birthday and I was so excited but when I tried it on, it fell off. Maybe when my finger gets fatter I can wear it.

You've probably seen this before on my button { the one on the side right over there >} These rings, I love because they are stackable. I can choose different combinations of rings to stack {which I will have to show you later.}

P.S: Grab a button please!

How I Live My Life

Recently, I have started trying to knit and this is what I have so far. It kinda sucks so if anyone of you have found a nice tutorial on how to knit or purl, please send it to me. Thank you.

Also, at Ikea, I have found this lovely jar to keep my paper stars in. Yay!

DIY Stamp Eraser

Yay! Stamp erasers! I actually learned how to do this from a friend and I wanted to share it with the 2 people that actually reads this blog.

1. Using a pen/pencil, sketch out your shape that you want the stamp to be. {Obviously, mine is a heart.}

2. Cut out any unneeded chunks of eraser.

3. Use the x-acto knife to crave around the eraser and inside too so that when you stamp it, it will only catch the outline of your shape.

4.Test out your stamp until the outline is clear.

The Rant Challenge: Being 'Forever Alone'

Being 'Forever Alone.'

{via}

This is a big topic to me. When people say that they are going to be forever alone and they are in the 13-25 age range it annoys me to no end. These people that say they are going to be forever alone because it's Valentines's Day and they don't have a date or whatever. When I went on Twitter and Tumblr on Valentine's Day, my whole feed was about how they were ugly and they are going to be "forever alone".

Being 'forever alone' is not funny. It's sad.What about those people who are really forever alone, who really can't find their other half?

Have you not stopped and thought about how young you are? You have a full life ahead of you and there are about 7 billion people on this earth. You will get a boyfriend and you will get married. (If you want to.) You are not going to be "forever alone" so shut your mouth and deal with it.

Happy Family Day!

Hi guys! Happy Family Day! For those of you that don't know, family day is kind of like a Canadian holiday. You don't work and you spend time with your family! Actually, I think only Ontario has it. I think only Ontario has EQAO too. Just search it up if you want more details.

I would love it if you guys shared the two below pictures because I'm looking for guest bloggers and suggestions for new Rant Challenge posts.

Thank you!

How I Live My Life (02/17/2012)

I'm super sorry I didn't post as much as I should have.  Today's post is actually just about a brownie. That's it.

Let me just start off by saying I love food. Like really. And I'm super tired of people saying " Wait. You're skinny and a girl and you like food? Yeah right. " Just because I'm skinny doesn't mean that I don't like to eat. I am not friggin anorexic. And if you are then please, find help.
Back to the brownie.
This is a mug brownie. A brownie inside a mug. This isn't my recipe so I don't think I should  be sharing it but click over here to find out where to make this.

DIY Paper Friendship Necklaces

I'm going to apologize in advance for the crappy pictures. I already tried to edit the lighting and it still looks crappy but I think I'll update it with fresh, better looking pictures.

Glue: I use Elmers Glue sticks. I think they are the best type of glue stick that you can get.
Paper: I used construction paper for this project. Just plain white construction paper.
Puzzle pieces: These can be any size that you want them to be.

1. First, fold your paper in half and glue it down so there are two layers already. Then trace out your puzzle piece.

The Rant Challenge: The Cinnamon Challenge

I haven't really written a Rant Challenge in a really long time so I just want to talk about it. { I know that the title sounds awkward.}

The Cinnamon Challenge

Usually, something like this happens.

 According to the internet, the Cinnamon Challenge is a dare for you to swallow a teaspoon { tablespoon?} of cinnamon.  Personally this sounds dangerous and scary and weird and they say it's impossible. I have tried this before and it's very...interesting. I only tried a little bit { a quarter of the spoon} and I did swallow it. However, I have never tried to do the whole spoon.

 My favourite is this one. She thought she could handle it and she didn't. I do feel bad because she was doing this little dance to try and get to the water.

My 100th Post! { Tosititos Recipe}

So. Hi. Today, I'm writing my hundredth post. Kind of a big deal. The blog's birthday is coming up and I'm really happy that I wrote 100 posts! I was going to pick out my top posts but then I realized I should save that for something else. So I'm going to...

I usually don't write posts about food but I really want to show you something that I'm eating right now.

These are Tostitoes with melted cheese on them. The ingredients are pretty simple and most people have them.

{ And a microwave!}

 You should lay out your chips and try and find some flatter ones that you know will be able to hold the cheese.

I know in the picture it said knife but I'm cutting it out with a spoon and it really doesn't matter.

Try and place it in a bowl that is microwaveable and just pop it in for a good 10-12 seconds.

It should look like this.

You need to quickly place the cheese right out of the microwave before they are cold.

And that's what you get!
